Todays Divine Mercy prayers are needed more than ever for all of the Cardinals, Bishops, Arch-Bishops, Msgrs, Pastors, and Priests. It was ST. Athanasius himself who illustrated the great damage done when he said, "The floor of hell is paved with the skulls of bishops." He was, of course, referring to those bishops - the vast majority - who had been lured away from the True Church. If that many bishops were in hell, how many who followed them down the wide path to perdition also were? They say for every priest who loses his soul, 1000 souls are lost; for every bishop who loses his eternal soul, 10,000 souls are denied the Heavenly portals. It is a heavy burden they carry, and they should not take it lightly, as many Progressives in the church do.
Our Lord said to St. Faustina;
Today bring to Me the Souls of Priests and Religious, and immerse them in My unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave me strength to endure My bitter Passion. Through them as through channels My mercy flows out upon mankind."
Most Merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, increase Your grace in men and women consecrated to Your service,* that they may perform worthy works of mercy; and that all who see them may glorify the Father of Mercy who is in heaven.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the company of chosen ones in Your vineyard -- upon the souls of priests and religious; and endow them with the strength of Your blessing. For the love of the Heart of Your Son in which they are enfolded, impart to them Your power and light, that they may be able to guide others in the way of salvation and with one voice sing praise to Your boundless mercy for ages without end. Our politician play, and the people will pay
Only a liberal idiot will not understand. STOP THE SPENDING NOW, NOT TOMORROW OR 10 YEARS FROM NOW. Why hadn't the Democratic majority in the Senate and the House, for the past two year fix the crisis we are now facing? For the past two years, we have not had a budget passed by the majority congress under Obama. The only thing they did was to continuously raise the Debt Ceiling, which is the reason why we are at this point of no return now. How come Moody didn't react sooner to threaten to downgrade our credit rating? Did we get to this point only during the last month?
I would guarantee if Obama addressed this problem years ago, instead of taking so many vacations, and playing golf, and parties, when the Democrats could have passed anything they wanted to, like they did the Health Care, that he American majority did not want, they could have easily come up with less spending, and probably balance the budget. But no, like a drunk, or a person addicted to drugs, they did not stop to think of the consequences, but felt that the money would never end.
Entitlement? Medicare, and Social Security, was paid for by the workers, and the fund was Raped by Lyndon B Johnson a Democratic President, and put into the General fund, so that he could come up with as many entitlements as he could, in-order to ensure his re-election, just as Obama is trying to do now.
Wake up America, when all else fails, Obama will play the race card once again, which only leads to more dividing of America. It was not just one race that voted Obama into the presidency, and without the White votes, he never would have gotten in. The hopes of the American people was that Obama would be a uniting aspect, but instead, he has become divisive, using that card to inflame the American people, so that they will not realize what he is really doing. His aim, is to bring down the American system, and bring he whole world to it knee's at the same time, so that the terrorist can make huge gains in the world, toward world domination.
Think about this the next time you go to vote, and look at your little child that will have to live with the decision you are making.

Thursdays Divine Mercy Prayers
Today bring to Me the Souls who especially venerate and glorify My Mercy*,
and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over my Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death.
Most Merciful Jesus, whose Heart is Love Itself, receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who particularly extol and venerate the greatness of Your mercy. These souls are mighty with the very power of God Himself. In the midst of all afflictions and adversities they go forward, confident of Your mercy; and united to You, O Jesus, they carry all mankind on their shoulders. These souls will not be judged severely, but Your mercy will embrace them as they depart from this life.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute, that of Your fathomless mercy, and who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls are a living Gospel; their hands are full of deeds of mercy, and their hearts, overflowing with joy, sing a canticle of mercy to You, O Most High! I beg You O God:
Show them Your mercy according to the hope and trust they have placed in You. Let there be accomplished in them the promise of Jesus, who said to them that during their life, but especially at the hour of death, the souls who will venerate this fathomless mercy of His, He, Himself, will defend as His glory. Why the Latin Mass?
The logical question raised when hearing or seeing our Mass for the first time is: WHY THE OLD LATIN MASS? Truly a threefold question calling for a threefold answer.
1. Why the MASS?
The only "raison d'être" and justification of the Church's activities is the eternal salvation of human beings created to some day live happily forever in Heaven. That eternal salvation became available to all the day Jesus Christ, true God and true man, sacrificed His life on the cross of Calvary. It is through the sacrifice of the Mass that the graces and merits of the Cross reach us, otherwise separated from that first Good Friday by nineteen centuries of time and space. The sacrifice of the Mass, THE UNBLOODY RENEWAL OF THE SACRIFICE OF THE CROSS, is therefore not only the central point of Roman Catholic worship, but, even more so, the Church's very heart without which the Church simply cannot survive. The current situation in the Church proves only too tragically how right the late Cardinal Newman was when he wrote: "Tolle Missam, tolle Ecclasiam! - Destroy the Mass, and you destroy the Church!"
2. Why the Mass IN LATIN?
On top of the cross on which our Savior died, the cause of his death - "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews" - was written in Hebrew, Greek and Latin. In tribute to this historical fact, the Mass of the Roman Catholic Church, while always preserving certain Greek and Hebrew expressions, has from the very first century been conducted in Latin, the language of old Rome, the see of St. Peter and the popes who would succeed him. To preserve the Latin in the Church's public worship is to preserve the link between the Church of today and the Church of the past.
Besides thus being a sign of historical CONTINUITY, the Latin language is also a sign of UNIVERSALITY. No one insisted more strongly on this point than Pope John XXIII, the most abused and disobeyed pope in modern times, who made his own the words of Pius XI: "A universal Church must have a universal language." Just as Roman Catholics have a right to expect the same beliefs among members of their Church anywhere in the world, so do they have a right to find themselves "at home" in every one of their churches the world over. This they always did and do when properly trained to use the bilingual missals containing on one side their own language translation, while on the other side those familiar Latin sounds they heard since childhood as a second mother tongue, that of their Mother the Church.
3. Why the TRADITIONAL Mass in Latin?
The Mass uninterruptedly kept alive by the Catholic Traditionalist Movement, founded in 1964, is truly "traditional," dating back some nineteen centuries. To refer to this Mass as "Tridentine Mass" or "Mass of St. Pius V" is historically incorrect and tactically unwise. All the sixteenth century Tridentine Council and Pope Pius V did was to eliminate from the Mass of their days certain long and cumbersome prayers of more recent vintage, and thus restore the Catholic Mass to its ORIGINAL PURITY and relative simplicity.
The fact that Pius V, on one of those rare historical occasions when a pope uses his supreme authority to issue a decree "IN PERPETUITY," made that restored old Mass the untouchable Mass "for all times," earned him not only his subsequent canonization as a saint, but also the immense gratitude of today's loyal Roman Catholics who use his decree "Quo Primum" as their justification, before God and men, to say "No!" to anyone attempting to replace the "Ordo Missae" of all past and future centuries with a "New Order" of a fluctuating and passing today.

You never read about this in the newspapers, for it is another proof of our Faith in Jesus Christ.
Lanciano, Italy 8th Century A.D.
Ancient Anxanum, the city of the Frentanese, has contained for over twelve centuries the first and greatest Eucharistic Miracle of the Catholic Church. This wondrous Event took place in the 8th century A.D. in the little Church of St. Legontian, as a divine response to a Basilian monk's doubt about Jesus' Real Presence in the Eucharist.
During Holy Mass, after the two-fold consecration, the host was changed into live Flesh and the wine was changed into live Blood, which coagulated into five globules, irregular and differing in shape and size.
The Host-Flesh, as can be very distinctly observed today, has the same dimensions as the large host used today in the Latin church; it is light brown and appears rose-colored when lighted from the back.
The Blood is coagulated and has an earthy color resembling the yellow of ochre.
Various ecclesiastical investigation ("Recognitions") were conducted since 1574.
In 1970-'71 and taken up again partly in 1981 there took place a scientific investigation by the most illustrious scientist Prof. Odoardo Linoli, eminent Professor in Anatomy and Pathological Histology and in Chemistry and Clinical Microscopy. He was assisted by Prof. Ruggero Bertelli of the University of Siena.
The analyses were conducted with absolute and unquestionable scientific precision and they were documented with a series of microscopic photographs.
These analyses sustained the following conclusions:
The Flesh is real Flesh. The Blood is real Blood.
The Flesh and the Blood belong to the human species.
The Flesh consists of the muscular tissue of the heart.
In the Flesh we see present in section: the myocardium, the endocardium, the vagus nerve and also the left ventricle of the heart for the large thickness of the myocardium.
The Flesh is a "HEART" complete in its essential structure.
The Flesh and the Blood have the same blood-type: AB (Blood-type identical to that which Prof. Baima Bollone uncovered in the Holy Shroud of Turin).
In the Blood there were found proteins in the same normal proportions (percentage-wise) as are found in the sero-proteic make-up of the fresh normal blood.
In the Blood there were also found these minerals: chlorides, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, sodium and calcium.
The preservation of the Flesh and of the Blood, which were left in their natural state for twelve centuries and exposed to the action of atmospheric and biological agents, remains an extraordinary phenomenon.
Scientific proof of the Miracle of Lanciano
Analysis of Still Existing Evidence
A pilgrim, born and baptised Catholic, shared with his convert wife, after venerating the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano, "I never believed in the physical presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. To me, it was strictly `in memory of Him'. Now, I truly believe that my Jesus comes alive to me personally in the Consecrated Host that I consume at Holy Mass."
On one occasion, after the priest had shown all our pilgrims the Eucharistic Miracle, he came down to the foot of the altar, and made the following observation:
"Remember, this miracle that you are witnessing now, and that you have traveled so far to witness, happens every day in every church in the world, at the consecration of the Mass."
How many tests have been made over the years, how many times Our Dear Lord Jesus allows Himself to be prodded and cut, examined under microscopes, and photographed. The most recent, an extensive scientific research done in 1970, used the most modern scientific tools available. The results of the tests are as follows:
The flesh is real flesh. The blood is real blood.
The flesh consists of the muscular tissue of the heart (myocardium)
The flesh and blood belong to the human species.
The flesh and blood have the same blood type (AB).
In the blood, there were found proteins in the same normal proportions as are found in the scro-proteic make up of fresh, normal blood.

As part of this most recent investigation, the following comment was made: "Though it is alien to my task strictly speaking, I feel I should insert the following reflection into the study just completed: the clarification, which comes through in these studies, of the nature of the flesh gives little support to the hypothesis of a `fraud' perpetrated centuries ago. As a matter of fact supposing that the heart may have been taken from a cadaver, I maintain that only a hand experienced in anatomic dissection would have been able to obtain from a hollow internal organ such a uniform cut (as can still be glimpsed in the flesh)."
What the doctor, a scientist and not a theologian, is saying in simple language is that although it's not his task to speculate, it would have been difficult, next to impossible, for anyone to have cut a slice of the heart in the way that it was done. He also states that it's highly doubtful that there was any fraud involved.
Another unusual characteristic of the blood is that when liquified, it has retained the chemical properties of freshly shed blood. When we cut ourselves and stain our clothes, the chemical properties of the blood are gone within 20 minutes to a half hour. If blood is not refrigerated within an hour maximum, the composition rapidly breaks down. If blood were taken from a dead body, it would lose its qualities quickly through decay. This blood is over 1250 years old and still contains all its properties, chemicals and protein of freshly shed blood. And yet in the testing, it was determined that no preservatives of any kind were found in the blood.

During Holy Mass, after the two-fold consecration, the host was changed into live Flesh and the wine was changed into live Blood, which coagulated into five globules, irregular and differing in shape and size.
The Host-Flesh, as can be very distinctly observed today, has the same dimensions as the large host used today in the Latin church; it is light brown and appears rose-colored when lighted from the back.
The Blood is coagulated and has an earthy color resembling the yellow of ochre.
Various ecclesiastical investigation ("Recognitions") were conducted since 1574.
In 1970-'71 and taken up again partly in 1981 there took place a scientific investigation by the most illustrious scientist Prof. Odoardo Linoli, eminent Professor in Anatomy and Pathological Histology and in Chemistry and Clinical Microscopy. He was assisted by Prof. Ruggero Bertelli of the University of Siena.
The analyses were conducted with absolute and unquestionable scientific precision and they were documented with a series of microscopic photographs.
These analyses sustained the following conclusions:
The Flesh is real Flesh. The Blood is real Blood.
The Flesh and the Blood belong to the human species.
The Flesh consists of the muscular tissue of the heart.
In the Flesh we see present in section: the myocardium, the endocardium, the vagus nerve and also the left ventricle of the heart for the large thickness of the myocardium.
The Flesh is a "HEART" complete in its essential structure.
The Flesh and the Blood have the same blood-type: AB (Blood-type identical to that which Prof. Baima Bollone uncovered in the Holy Shroud of Turin).
In the Blood there were found proteins in the same normal proportions (percentage-wise) as are found in the sero-proteic make-up of the fresh normal blood.
In the Blood there were also found these minerals: chlorides, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, sodium and calcium.
The preservation of the Flesh and of the Blood, which were left in their natural state for twelve centuries and exposed to the action of atmospheric and biological agents, remains an extraordinary phenomenon.

A pilgrim, born and baptised Catholic, shared with his convert wife, after venerating the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano, "I never believed in the physical presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. To me, it was strictly `in memory of Him'. Now, I truly believe that my Jesus comes alive to me personally in the Consecrated Host that I consume at Holy Mass."
On one occasion, after the priest had shown all our pilgrims the Eucharistic Miracle, he came down to the foot of the altar, and made the following observation:
"Remember, this miracle that you are witnessing now, and that you have traveled so far to witness, happens every day in every church in the world, at the consecration of the Mass."
How many tests have been made over the years, how many times Our Dear Lord Jesus allows Himself to be prodded and cut, examined under microscopes, and photographed. The most recent, an extensive scientific research done in 1970, used the most modern scientific tools available. The results of the tests are as follows:
The flesh is real flesh. The blood is real blood.

As part of this most recent investigation, the following comment was made: "Though it is alien to my task strictly speaking, I feel I should insert the following reflection into the study just completed: the clarification, which comes through in these studies, of the nature of the flesh gives little support to the hypothesis of a `fraud' perpetrated centuries ago. As a matter of fact supposing that the heart may have been taken from a cadaver, I maintain that only a hand experienced in anatomic dissection would have been able to obtain from a hollow internal organ such a uniform cut (as can still be glimpsed in the flesh)."
What the doctor, a scientist and not a theologian, is saying in simple language is that although it's not his task to speculate, it would have been difficult, next to impossible, for anyone to have cut a slice of the heart in the way that it was done. He also states that it's highly doubtful that there was any fraud involved.
Another unusual characteristic of the blood is that when liquified, it has retained the chemical properties of freshly shed blood. When we cut ourselves and stain our clothes, the chemical properties of the blood are gone within 20 minutes to a half hour. If blood is not refrigerated within an hour maximum, the composition rapidly breaks down. If blood were taken from a dead body, it would lose its qualities quickly through decay. This blood is over 1250 years old and still contains all its properties, chemicals and protein of freshly shed blood. And yet in the testing, it was determined that no preservatives of any kind were found in the blood.

I, along with virtually everyone who reads this forum, has come to recognize that you are a bigoted, twisted old man who is determined to wage war against anyone who dares to challenge your (warped) views of religion or politics. You see conspiracy everywhere and you don't seem to have the mental acuity to separate the two. You are in serious need of the services of a mental health professional.
These are the realities of the situation. Now go ahead and continue to post the crap we've been "treated" to almost 3 years. [unquote]
This 60 year old man has nothing else in life, but to keep posting 1 line rants, after refusing to debate the issues. He is to be pitied, and be prayed for, as I have been doing, and find so much peace in doin so. He has aleigned himself with the pagan, Wicca, person, and finds nothing wrong with that, just as the abortionistic
